the loss of wisdom

one of the best things about having a camera on your phone is that you can capture the day to day events of your life, like the torture to which i submitted myself yesterday. these pics speak for themselves:

that last pic shows the two wisdom teeth now together again (after the first was taken out some months ago). incidentally, i thought that i would be quite sore after the dentist brutally wrenched that tooth from my jaw, but it turns out that with a combination of panadol, voltaren, tramadol, valium and oxycontin, i feel just fine.

the panda says no

i enjoy the fluidity of the english language, but some things rudely awaken the stickler in me. like this information panel beside a portable wireless device that i bought today at a telstra shop! you too can see it when your out and about...

where better to recuperate from work sickness than down on the shipwreck coast? summer is here and i'm loving myself sick with this heat...must get that thyroid checked...

our first stop was a little cafe in angelsea for breakfast. here's a pic of me hoing into a muffin with clear and startling evidence that...i'm going BALD. oh no!!! i've been in denial for a few months, pawing over old photos for comparison and making all sorts of claims (to myself mainly) regarding the reflection of light off my scalp, but the truth has become impossible to hide. so i'm going to embrace it - WOOF! - and try to keep in mind the alleged response of the mayor of Berlin some years ago when asked to comment on the fact that the city was millions of euro in debt: that may be true, but we're still sexy.

we had a quick geezer at all the 12 apostles-ish cliffs. g became two-faced.

before hitting the beach!

the panoramic shots were in full swing.

we retreated to the forest for a quick hike through some vicious mosquito-infested territory
and caught up on some much-needed spooning.
before hitting the beach one more time. it was practically all ours!!!
where else in the world could you find such amazing beaches in the middle of summer and only share them with a few people? fair fucking dinkum.
g was as happy as a frog in a bit pond...

see you next time!
